V3con is very excited that Anita Lau will be speaking at V3con on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at the Japanese American National Museum.
So let’s get to know Anita a little better…
What do you love about what you do?
I’ve always loved writing about food. I have been a food writer for 20+ years both in Hong Kong and the U.S. I love how no matter how much you think you know about food, it is a never-ending process because food is constantly evolving and new techniques and ways of preparation are coming up all the time.
What surprises you about blogging?
That it has opened up doors for me in so many ways – even though my initial objective was very personal and an outlet to do what I love.
Your favorite hangout in LA?
I don’t live in LA — I live in OC — so I don’t ‘hang out’ in LA. However, my favorite places to eat at up in LA are: The Serving Spoon for breakfast/soul food, Melisse for the ultimate experience, any Patina Group restaurant for an all-around good meal.
