Jeff is one of the most high-profile Asian Americans in media, and has devoted his career to thoughtfully covering and promoting Asian America. He’ll be participating in the conference as a panelist on the Plenary session, “Asian Spotting in the Traditional Media,” as well as moderating a panel, “Comic relief: Anime and manga in the digital era” later in the day. Richard is a U.S. journalist and dayside news anchor for MSNBC. Lui is also a rotating news anchor for NBC’s weekend Today show and contributes reports for NBC News Investigations Unit. Jen Wang is the cofounder and author of DISGRASIAN.com, one of the must-read Asian American blogs, which is also feature don Huffington Post. Jen’s been featured on Nightline, NPR, The Associated Press, BBC News, The Daily Beast, Hyphen magazine, and KoreAm Journal, among others. She’s also a regular contributor to the Huffington Post and xoJane.
Jen received her BA in Literature from Yale and her MFA in creative writing from Columbia. She has also worked as a freelance journalist and her writing has been published in Vogue, Hommes, C Magazine, and The New York Times’ T Magazine.
